After much discussion and
soul searching the club had no alternative but to withdraw the Girls U/14 team
from the league. A number of factors have conspired against the club but
the bottom line was the lack of numbers prepared to commit to playing National
League.
A new recruiting programme will be organised and put into action in the near
future which will consist of venues around the county for taster basketball days
aimed primarily at School Years 6.7 and 8
