Travel Directions to Northgate Sports Centre - Ipswich

From the South – follow A12 to Ipswich - When on outskirts of Ipswich where A12 meets A14 (Large Roundabout) follow signs on to A14 to Felixstowe. (Round and down to the right.) THEN (A)

 From the North & West – From Cambridge follow A14 to Ipswich then on towards Felixstowe – ignoring first 3 exits into Ipswich THEN (A)

 By Train to Ipswich then Taxi to Northgate Sports Centre as it is approx 3 miles from Station.

 THEN (A)  - Continue on A14 towards Felixstowe and go over a large Road Bridge (Called ‘The Orwell Bridge’) – 1 Mile Span.

 Approx 1 mile after bridge take slip road off A14 (Junction 57) keeping in Left hand lane and follow this round left and in towards Ipswich Town Centre and (H for Hospital signs)

 At next roundabout take the 3^rd exit (Thresher pub on your left) and straight on at next roundabout (Burger King on your right) continue down and under rail bridge.

Once under bridge turn left (H for Hospital signs) and follow road for approx ½ mile to next roundabout where you need to get in right hand lane to continue straight on (Or 2^nd exit - Road is called Bixley Road) (H for Hospital signs)

 At next roundabout (Approx 1 mile) once again continue straight on (Road called Heath Road) (H for Hospital signs)  – you will pass through multiple set of lights with Hospital entrance on your left – as you approach next roundabout get in right hand land BUT follow road round to the left – remaining in right hand lane go round next roundabout taking third exit (A1214) – follow this road and go straight on at next roundabout. (A1214)

 Finally after approx another mile take 3^rd Exit (ie off to the right) at the next  roundabout (Sidegate Lane ) and drive 400m to T-Junction. (Northgate School in front of you)

 Turn Left and then 1^st right into Northgate Sports Centre -  Car park by the Centre
