Travel Directions to Ipswich and the Sports Centre –

From London/South – follow A12 to Ipswich – when on outskirts of Ipswich you reach big roundabout (Junction of A12/A14) Continue straight on A1214  into Ipswich Town Centre passing Toys R Us/Tesco on your left. Continue for approx 2 miles where you will descend down a hill to major, multiple sets of lights - keep in left hand lane crossing straight over passing Sainsbury's on your left and take first left at next lights (A1214)- continue along tree lined avenue at the end of which remain in centre lane - continue straight on and up to to mini - multiple access roundabout.

Once again continue straight on (A1214 and Hospital signs),  You will go up a hill and at the top continue straight on through traffic lights.  Continue along this road (1 mile aprox) and once again straight on at roundabout.  You will go up a slight rise with Cemetery on you right - just after brow of hill (be careful) you will need to bear left (Sports Centre signposted) - 200m on your left is the Northgate Sports Centre with ample Car parking.

From North/West - M6/A14 (Birmingham & North West) or M1/A14 East Midlands/Sheffield or A1/A14 (North East) to Cambridge then A14 to Ipswich. At first Ipswich Exit (Junction 53) go up slip road to roundabout and take 1st Left and follow this road - after a short distance another roundabout take 2nd exit and follow road into Ipswich.  Continue straight going under Ferodo bridge  and after 1 mile approx keep in left hand lane and filter left (A12/14) at mini - multiple access roundabout.

You will go up a hill and at the top continue straight on through traffic lights.  Continue along this road (1 mile approx) and once again straight on at roundabout.  You will go up a slight rise with Cemetery on you right - just after brow of hill (be careful) you will need to bear left (Sports Centre signposted) - 200m on your left is the Northgate Sports Centre with ample Car parking.
