Directions to Holbrook High Sports Centre, Ipswich

Ipswich Road, Holbrook. IPSWICH, Suffolk.  IP9 2QX  

From the North – M6 or M1 or A1 – to  A14 - (via Huntingdon) to Cambridge then follow A14 to Ipswich and exit at Junction 56 -  A137   (4^th   main exit into Ipswich Central)   

At the top of the slip road take first LEFT in Ipswich direction – go down hill (Ski Slope and Golf Centre on your right.)  to the bottom.

At bottom of the hill you will approach a roundabout - filter RIGHT and take 2^nd Exit signed to Woolverstone/Shotley (B1456) (Oyster Reach Pub on your right and Marina to left)

Follow this Road for approximately 3 miles - Note for guidance - you will go under a huge bridge (Orwell Bridge) and along shore line – up a hill with a pub (The Boot) on your right half way up hill.

Continue until the road levels out and you reach a Cross roads on a bend where you take the road off to your RIGHT (B1080) (you will see a Water Tower near the cross roads - you pass this to your left)

Follow this road  (B1080) for approx 2 miles -  when you enter the village of Holbrook.  The entrance to the school is approx 400m after the first house on your right.

Take care as it is easy to miss the entrance but it has Holbrook High School Board at entrance

The Sports Centre is at the end of this lane with ample parking.
